Content Overhaul: Streamlining and restructuring content to align with the new design while preserving its integrity and messaging.
Aligning Stakeholder Goals: Incorporating feedback and balancing the varying priorities of stakeholders like marketing, product, and engineering teams.
My discovery process for redesigning Rep Health’s website included:
Holding extensive meetings with stakeholders to understand business objectives, user goals, and success metrics.
Analyzing current website performance using Google Analytics to identify pain points and opportunities for improvement.
Conducting competitor analysis to identify industry trends and benchmark key features.
Synthesizing research findings to define core design goals such as improving navigation, boosting engagement, and enhancing visual appeal.
For the website redesign, I worked closely with our CMO to ensure all the design decisions aligned with the brand identity. I created initial wireframes in Figma to share with our CMO and stakeholders and presented my ideas to gather their initial feedback.
Since we had already decided on the brand colors, I started translating the wireframes into high-fidelity prototypes while considering all the feedback I gathered in the ideation phase. We went back and forth with the animations, content organization, and visual elements until we were all satisfied with the results.
I conducted design handoff sessions with the engineering team to walk them through the designs and functionality. I created detailed design documentation, including specifications for animations, icons, and transitions. Then, I worked closely with the developers to address technical constraints and ensure design feasibility.
I performed a final review with cross-functional teams before we launched the new website to ensure everything aligned with our objectives.
I continuously monitor Google Analytics and user feedback to identify areas for improvement.
